Chicken Tikka Pulao

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka Preparation:
Chicken pieces (leg+thigh) 4-5
NESTL MILKPAK Yogurt 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tikka masala 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka Pulao:
Oil 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Whole black pepper 15-20
Black cardamom 2
Bay leaves 2
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Cooked chicken
NESTL MILKPAK Yogurt 1 cup
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Heated coal pieces 1-2
Oil (for smoke) 1 tsp
Water 5 cups
Soaked rice 3 cups
Green coriander (chopped) for garnishing

Directions for Chicken Tikka Preparation:
1. In a bowl add chicken pieces, NESTL MILKPAK Yogurt, ginger garlic paste, tikka masala, lemon juice and mix it well.
2. On a grill pan heat oil and place marinated chicken. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes or until 70% done. Set aside.
Directions for Chicken Tikka Pulao Preparation:
3. In a pot heat oil and add cumin seeds, whole black pepper, black cardamom, bay leaves and cook for a minute.
4. Add onion and cook until brown. Now add cooked chicken and cook for 2-3 mins.
5. Now add NESTL MILKPAK Yogurt, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook until chicken is fully done.
6. Place heated coal pieces in an aluminum cup in the pot and drizzle oil on them. Cover and smoke for 1-2 mins.
7. Now add water and bring it to a boil. Now add rice and cook until 80% water absorbs.
8. Now cover and steam over low flame for 10-15 mins.
9. Dish them out and garnish with green coriander. Your Chicken Tikka Pulao is ready to serve.
