This unique combination of Samo Khichdi and Sabudana Kheer will leave you licking your fingers!SAMO KHICHDIIngredients:1 cup samo1 tablespoon ghee1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 teaspoon chopped green chillies¼ cup raw peanutsRock salt to tasteFresh scraped coconut for garnishingMethod:1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and green chillies and sauté for 30 seconds. 2. Add peanuts and sauté for a minute. Add samo, mix and cook till golden. Reduce heat, add 2 cups water and mix well. Add rock salt, mix, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.3. Serve hot garnished with coconut and a coriander sprigSABUDANE KI KHEERIngredients:1 cup sago (sabudana), soaked3 cups milk½ cup grated mawa/khoya 1 tablespoon ghee1 tablespoon chopped almonds1 tablespoon chopped cashewnuts¾ cup sugar1 tablespoon raisins½ teaspoon green cardamom powderMethod1. Heat 4 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add sago, mix and cook well.2. Add milk and mawa, mix well and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.3. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add almonds and cashewnuts and sauté on medium heat till golden. 4. Add sugar to the sago mixture, mix well and continue to cook. 5. Add raisins to the nuts, mix and sauté for a minute. Add the sautéed nuts to the sago mixture and mix well. 6. Add cardamom powder, mix well and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.7. Serve warm.
