Christmas snackin' just got so much better!SALAMI MOZZARELLA STICKSIngredients8-10 chicken salami100 grams mozzarella cheese block16 wonton sheets½ tsp chopped fresh rosemary leavesCrushed black peppercorns to taste¼ tsp dried basil½ tsp red chilli flakesSalt to taste2 tsps olive oilRefined flour slurry as requiredOil for deep fryingFresh rosemary sprig for garnishMethod1. Cut the mozzarella cheese into thick strips and transfer it into a bowl. Add rosemary, crushed black peppercorns, ried basil, red chilli flakes, salt and olive oil and mix well. 2. Place 2 wonton sheets (one on top of the other) on a worktop, place a piece of salami on one end, place a mozzarella strip over it. Fold the sides and start rolling from one end to the other, brush some refined flour slurry on the edge and roll to seal.3. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Gently slide in the prepared sticks into the hot oil and deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.4. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve hot with tarter sauce.
