SABUDANA POPSIngredients1 cup sago (sabudana), soaked for 6-7 hours and drained2 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled1 tsp ginger green chilli paste¼ cup roasted peanuts, crushedSalt to taste1 tsp sugar2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves2 tsps lemon juice Oil for deep fryingCoconut chutney to serveMethod1. Add potatoes in a large bowl and mash them. Add ginger-green chilli paste, peanuts, salt, sugar, sago, chopped coriander and lemon juice. Mix well.2. Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape them into balls.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep-fry the prepared sago balls till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 4.
