ROYYALA KARAM PODI | DRY PRAWNS CHUTNEY POWDER | SPICY KARAM PODI FOR RICE

INGREDIENTS
1. Dry Prawns - 1 Cup
2. Dried Chillies - 15
3. Coriander Seeds - 2 Tablespoons
4. Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
5. Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
6. Garlic Cloves - 10-12
7. Tamarind - 10 Grams
8. Salt - 1 Teaspoon

Here I used washed prawn. They have to dry completely before making the powder.
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan
Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds and fry for some time
Add 2 tablespoons coriander seeds and fry
Add dried chillies and fry till they change colour and become crisper
Add 10 grams tamarind and fry for a minute
Move it into a plate
Fry dry prawns in the same pan
They could be fried dryly or in oil
Fry till dry prawns become crispy. Don't burn it
Cut off the stove and let it cool down
To a mixie jar, add all the fried ingredients
Add garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon salt and grind it into a powder
Add fried dried prawns and grind it coarsely
Serve it with hot rice
