Daniel shows you how to make a royal court banchan! This one is called Tteokgalbi. It is short ribs minced into a meatball patty. Nowadays, homecooks prefer to use minced pork and beef. But in the Joseon Dynasty, the story is that they wanted to make it easy for the king to eat short ribs. They didn't want him to struggle in eating it. Sounds like too much pampering - haha!
