Rose Lassi | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A refreshing lassi with the fresh flavour of rose petals and rose water.

ROSE LASSI

Ingredients

2 cups yogurt
½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
2 tablespoons rose water
2 tablespoons crushed dried rose petals
¼ cup castor sugar
2 tablespoons fresh malai
Rose syrup as required
Chopped almonds as required
Chopped blanched pistachios as required

Method

1. Put yogurt in a bowl and whisk. Add cardamom powder, rose water and rose petals and whisk well.
2. Add castor sugar and malai and whisk till smooth.
3. Rim individual tall glasses by dipping them in rose syrup. Coat the rim with almonds and pistachios and pour the lassi in them.
4. Garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve immediately.
