FULL RECIPE FOR ROASTED LAMB
Ingredients
1 lamb leg, boneless
6 garlic cloves
100 gr butter
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp salt

Directions:
Prepare an oven tray by layering aluminum foil and parchment paper
Scatter the spices over the parchment paper
Using a knife make small incisions on the meat and insert the garlic cloves within
Lightly salt the meat and place on top of the seasoned parchment paper
Cut butter into thin squares and place on top of the meat
Fold the parchment paper over the meat from all four sides and repeat with aluminum foil to ensure proper coverage
Set the oven to 400F, place the meat into the oven and cook for 1 hour
Then decrease the heat to 350F and cook for 2 more hours
After 3 hours of cooking, uncover the meat and place on an oven tray
Drizzle its broth on top of the meat
Place the meat into a preheated oven (350F) and cook for 30 minutes, or until the outer layer becomes golden brown and crispy
Cut the meat into 1 cm thick slices and serve with rice pilav and boiled -or steamed- vegetables
