Ingredients:Red Chilies(Pandu Mirchi): 1/4 KgOnion: 1 Big SlicedTomatoes: 2 ChoppedGinger: 3 to 4 PiecesGarlic: 7 to 8 ClovesAlmonds: 7 to 8 No'sCashews: 10 to 12 No'sMelon Seeds: 1 TablespoonPoppy Seeds: 1 TablespoonCoriander Seeds: 1 TablespoonOil: 1 1/2 TablespoonTurmeric Powder; 1/4 TeaspoonChili Powder: 1 Teaspoon or as requiredSalt: 1 1/2 Teaspoon or as neededGaram Masala: 1/4 TeaspoonCoriander Leaves: for garnishingMethod of Preparation:Take 1/4 Kg Red Chilies wash, slit, and place aside for a while.Take 1 Big sized Onion sliced, 2 Tomatoes sliced, 3 to 4 Pieces of Ginger, and 7 to 8 Garlic Cloves.Heat a pan and dry roast 7 to 8 Almonds for a moment, add 10 to 12 Cashews and fry until the change in color.Add 1 Tbs of Melon Seeds, Poppy Seeds & Coriander Seeds. ( adding Coriander seeds in the last as they were roasted earlier).Put off the flame and let them cool down.To the same pan add 1 Tsp of Oil, fry sliced Onions till transparent.Add 2 chopped tomatoes cook until soft with a lid on it, put off the flame let it cool down.To a mixie jar dry roasted ingredients and grind them into a fine powder. ( Almonds, Cashews, Poppy Seeds, Melon Seeds & Coriander Seeds)Store the ground powder in a bowl for a while.Now, grind the fried Onions, Tomatoes, Ginger & Garlic with some water into a fine paste.Heat a pan with 1 Tbs of Oil, add slit Red Chilies fry for 3 to 4 Min on low flame.When cooked a bit, add the ground paste and fry for a while.Add 1/2 a cup of water, 1/4 Tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1 1/2 Tsp of Salt or as needed, and 1 Tsp of Red Chili Powder.Adjust the taste accordingly, let cook it for 3 to 4 Min.Let gravy be in a thick consistency, add 1/4 Tsp of Garam Masala.Garnish it with some Coriander Leaves, put off the flame.Tasty & delicious Red Chili Curry is ready.
