1) Sabudana Khichdi - A hearty Maharashtrian breakfast that is popularly eaten as a fasting dish too. During the fasting season, one usually relies on the food meant for fasting, Sabudana Khichdi (उपवासाचे साबुदाणा खिचडी) by Archana Arte is the most popular recipe that is used in Fasting season. Learn how to make this recipe quick and easy with us!

Ingredients:- / सामग्री
Serves 3-4 persons
2-3 Tbsp Oil
1/4 kg Soaked Tapioca Pearls (Sabudana)
3-4 Tbsp of Pounded Peanuts
3-4 Green Chillies chopped
1/2 Tsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Salt according to taste

Method of preparation
● Heat some oil and add jeera.
● Put the chopped green chillies.
● Mix the soaked tapioca pearls (Sabudana) with some crushed peanuts.
● Add some sugar & salt (according to taste) to this mixture.
● Put this in the pan and mix well.
● Sabudana Khichdi is ready to serve!
● Serve warm.

2) Sabudana Vada - It's an Indian snack prepared from sabudana pearls, mashed potatoes, and peanuts. This popular and yummy Maharashtrian Upvas (fast) snack recipe is also super easy to make!

Ingredients:- / सामग्री
1 cup Sabudana soaked
2 boiled potatoes
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 green chilli finely chopped
1 teaspoon jeera hing
Coriander leaves chopped
Peanuts crushed roasted 1/2 cup
Sugar to taste
salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method of preparation
● In a mixing bowl add soaked sabudana, boiled mashed potato, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, cumin powder, asafoetida, coriander leaves, sugar, peanut powder, salt and give it a good mix.
● Take a small portion of the mixture and make a small ball and lightly press it.
● Heat oil in kadai and deep fry sabudana vada until golden brown on both sides
● Enjoy Sabudana Vada!

3) Sabudana Kheer - साबूदाना की खीर by Archana Arte. This recipe is the best and famous dish that is eaten during Navratri for Vrat. With this recipe video, you can easily prepare the Sabudana Kheer anytime within 10 minutes.

Ingredients:- / सामग्री
2 Cups Milk
7 - 8 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Cardamom powder
2 Tbsp Milk Masala
1 Cup Sago(sabudana), soaked overnight
A few strings of Saffron
Chopped almonds & pistachios

Method of preparation
● In a deep pan, pour the milk, sugar, saffron, cardamom powder & milk masala. Stir it well.
● Heat this mixture while stirring continuously.
● Once the mixture is heated, add in the Sago (Sabudana) and the chopped dry fruits and mix well.
● Heat till it becomes thick.
● Pour in a bowl and garnish it with some more dry fruits.
● Enjoy Sabudana Ki Kheer!!
