Rai Jo Teewan Or Aur Jo Teewan By Veena | India Food Network

Try out this unusual traditional Sindhi dish, a vegetable gravy tempered with the distinctive flavor of mustard seeds.

Ingredients:

6 baby potatoes peeled
1 drumstick peeled and cut into pieces
2 - 3 inch piece of dudhi peeled and chopped (bottle guard)
1 large carrot scraped and cut into pieces
5 - 6 baby onions peeled
8 - 10 gavar cut into pieces (cluster beans)
1 brinjal
1 medium sized tomato grated
1 large amritsari vadi broken into pieces
Oil
Wheat flour
1 tsp dhania powder (coriander powder)
¼ tsp haldi powder (turmeric powder)
1 small ball of tamarind
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
1 - 2 green chillies finely chopped
8 - 10 flakes of garlic finely chopped
Coriander leaves finely chopped
1 inch piece ginger finely chopped
1 tsp mustard seeds
