Ragi Dosa | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Healthy crispy dosa made with ragi flour.

RAGI DOSA

Ingredients

1 cup finger millet (ragi) flour
½ cup rice flour
¼ cup split black gram (dhuli urad dal) flour
2 dried red chillies
½ teaspoon coriander seeds
½ teaspoon fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
1 cup yogurt
Salt to taste
Oil as required

Method

1. Blend together red chillies, coriander seeds and fenugreek seeds with water as required to a coarse paste.
2. Mix together finger millet flour, rice flour, black gram flour, prepared paste, yogurt and water as required to a batter of pouring consistency. Set aside to ferment for 3-4 hours.
3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter on it, spread into dosa and cook till evenly done.
4. Serve hot with green coconut chutney.
