Quick Raw Meal Hack

Quick Raw Meal Hack when your on the road, dont have a blender or are simply in a pinch!

Simply take 1/2 to 1 lb+ of dates, softer and fresher the better, pit them and put them in a 1-1.5 litre bottle of water and fill to the top!

Let it sit 3-8+ hours, shake it up every once in a while and it will become a really sweet chunky smoothy

I used 600 grams of dates in a 1.5 litre bottle here which is around 1500 calories or half of my average daily needs

Some people warn against eating dates often, this is much more a warning about snacking on dried dates as they can stick to the teeth, be harder to digest, be dehydrating and also pack on the calories especially if mindlessly / stress eating

Blended / soaked dates are rehydrated, much easier to digest and do not stick to your teeth, they can make a excellent meal or back up meal when in need!

I almost always have a few boxes of dates in the fridge for any times I am out of fresh fruit and if I am traveling for quick reliable calories in case its hard to find an abundance of fresh ripe fruit

Ps, using less dates and more water can be a amazing cheap sports drink, add a stalk of celery in there and your covered for sodium too
