Prawns coated with onion and gramflour batter, deep fried till crispy to make these delicious bhajiyas.PRAWN ONION BHAJJI - (Serves - 4)Ingredients8-12 medium prawns, shelled and deveined 1 large onion, sliced4-5 tablespoons gram flourOil for deep-frying¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds½ teaspoon carom seedsSalt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to tasteMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Combine onion and gram flour in a bowl and mix. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, crushed coriander seeds, carom seeds, salt and mix well. Add water as required and mix well. 3. Take prawns in another bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.4. Coat each prawn with onion-flour mixture and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.5.
