Prawn Omlette | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A yummy dish made with prawns and eggs.
PRAWNS OMELETTE

Ingredients

18-20 medium prawns, cleaned, deveined and washed
4 eggs
Salt to taste
2 tbsps oil
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
6-7 button mushrooms, chopped
3-4 tbsps chopped coriander leaves
3-4 tbsps grated processed cheese
Toasted bread slices to serve

Method

1. In a bowl, break eggs, add salt, and whisk well with a fork.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, green chillies, onion,and tomato. Cook for 1-2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
3. Add salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, mix well. Add prawns and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Add mushrooms, mix well and cook for 1 minute. Add the eggs andcoriander leaves, and cheese. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Loosen the edges and fold the omelette in half, slide onto a serving plate.
6. Serve hot along with toasted bread slices.
