Potato strips deep fried till perfectly crisp can serve as an accompaniment to your meals or a delectable snack both.

POTATO SALLI

Ingredients

4 large wafer potatoes
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method

1. Peel potatoes and set aside. Add water in a large bowl and sprinkle a little salt, add the peeled potatoes in it and mix well.
2. Thinly slice the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, add them to the salted water. Set aside.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, meanwhile, add the potato strips on a cloth and pat dry.
4. Drop in the potato strips in the hot oil and deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve.
