A sweet, melt in the mouth pineapple sheera studded with crunchy dry fruits and bits of juicy pineapple - if this isn't a tiffin treat we don’t know what is! PINEAPPLE SHEERAIngredients1 small pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped1 cup ghee1 cup semolina (rawa/suji)A pinch of saffron strands1 cup sugar5-6 almonds, chopped5-6 cashew nuts, choppedPuris for servingMethod1. Boil 2 cups water in a deep non-stick pan.2. Heat ghee in another deep non-stick pan. Add semolina, mix and cook on medium heat till golden brown, stirring continuously. 3. Take saffron strands in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon warm water and mix well. 4. Add the boiling water to the semolina mixture, cover and cook on medium heat till water evaporates. 5. Add ¾ of saffron water, sugar, pineapple, ¾ of almonds and ¾ of cashew nuts, mix, cover and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.6.
