PHUKET NIGHT MARKET STREET FOOD Thai Street Food and Shopping at Chillva Market, Phuket Town Thailand. NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS ALL THE TIME. Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3

In this video my family and I take you on a Phuket food tour of the street food in 2020 at a night market in Phuket Thailand. Thailand has re-opened its restaurants, night markets and street food stalls with certain regulations. The main rules are with hand sanitising, temperature checks, the use of face masks and many restaurants have some kind of a barrier on the table.

We wanted to go out and experience street food in 2020 and the social distance dining regulations in Thailand for ourselves - so my wife, son and I headed to Chillva Market in Phuket Town - known for its vibrant street food culture and shopping. Most street food stalls were open for evening service, but it was still very quiet compared to normal.

Chillva Night Market is in Phuket Town Thailand, its Google Maps coordinates are: https://goo.gl/maps/zGd6NWBcnRFzwiEY6
The full market is open Thursday to Saturday, 5 pm to 11 pm. A smaller version is open Monday to Wednesday, 5 pm to 11 pm.

We had a great night out eating street food, and tried chicken, oysters, fish,Thai papaya salad and some Thai sweets too

There is so much street food in Thailand and Thailand is known for being one of the best places in the world for eating street food. All of the Thai cuisine in this video is very common as Thai street food, but you will also find it at Thai restaurants.

Youll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok or Pattaya. Thai food has taken many influences from Chinese food so you will find many familiar flavours.
Thai food markets and night markets are some of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, youre never far from one.

And in case youre worried, eating Thai street food is safe. Its what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. Ive been eating it nearly daily since April 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food youll find in Thailand!

The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in Thai restaurants. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
