This plain simple dal(lentilcurry) tempered with mustard is a household staple dish, enjoyed best with steamed rice

Ingredients:

Boiled toor dal- 1 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 3-4 nos
Cumin seed ½ tsp
Curry leaves – 8-10
Coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste
oil – 1 tsp


Method:-
1)Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, garlic and saute well. Add curry leaves and saute
2) Add boiled dal and little water and mix well. Add salt and allow it to boiled.
3)Add chopped coriander and mix well.Remove it in a serving bowl and serve.
