Suffering from a sweet tooth and don't know what to do? Then try out this incredible Phirni recipe at home this Ramadan. Made of broken rice, sugar, milk and nuts, this preparation is very much like the South-Indian payasam or its more popular counterpart, kheer.

Ingredients

1 Litre Milk
300-350gm Milkmaid
100g Basmati Rice
2 tablespoons Almond And Pistachio Chopped
1 tablespoon Rose Water

Tips
1. Before adding sugar or rice to the milk, heat the milk first.
2. Wash the rice, spread it on a cloth and let it dry. Heat a little ghee in a pan, and mix the rice in the ghee. Once the rice has cooled, half crush it in a mixer and then cook it.
3.If one is using an aluminum utensil then keep stirring or else the ingredients will stick to the bottom of the utensil
