Pesarapappu Boorelu Recipe | సంక్రాంతి పెసరపప్పు బూరెలు | Boorelu in Telugu | Traditional Sweets

Ingredients
. Green Gram : 1 Cup
. Jaggery Grate: 1 1/4 Cup
. Coconut Grate: 3 Tablespoons
. Black Gram: 1 Cup
. Rice: 1 1/2 Cup
. Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
. Sugar: 2 Teaspoons
. Idling Rava: 1 1/2 Tablespoon
. Oil: Required for deep frying

Method of Preparation
. Take 1 Cup of Green Gram, wash and add 2 cups of water and boil it.
.Boil it with a lid on it till soft. Can be soaked 1/2 an hour before cooking it.
. When cooked well, mash it well.
. Add 1 1/4 Cup of grated jaggery, mix it well till it melts on low flame. Stirring it continuously.
Keep stirring it till thick, add 3 Tbs of Coconut Grate and mix well. ( its optional).
. Put off the flame and let it cool down.
. Now, will prepare Batter for the boorelu.
. Wash and soak 1 Cup of Black Gram, Dal should be more to get a nice taste to the boorelu.
.Take 1 1/2 cup of Rice soak them for 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
. Grind them into a thick batter, transfer it into a bowl.
. Add some water if it is too thick.
. Add 1/2 a Tsp of Salt to the batter, 2 Tsp of Sugar to get enchanced color.
. Add 1 1/2 Tbs of Idli Rava to the batter to make them crisp and to get correct consistency of the batter.
. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying the Boorelu.
. Now, take a small portion of the mashed thick stuffing of poor am, mold them into lemon sized balls.
. Dip them in batter coat them well and drop slowly in the oil. Fry them in batches.
Deep fry them well in medium flame.
.Flip turn them and fry them all until crisp and brown.
. Tasty and delicious Pessara Poornam Boorelu are ready.
