This yummy Keto burger made with juicy chicken patties, sandwiched between crisp lettuce leaves instead of buns is a perfect low-carb recipe which you can indulge in even when on a diet.KETO BURGERIngredients400 grams chicken mince4 small iceberg lettuce3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil1½ tbsps finely chopped garlicSalt to taste½ tsp dried mixed herbsCrushed black peppercorns to taste1 tsp Worcestershire sauce½ tsp all spice powder1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leavesMayonnaise for drizzlingMustard paste for applying1 medium tomato, cut into thin roundels2-3 pickled gherkins, vertically sliced1 medium onion, cut into rings4 cheese slices4 green olives, pittedMethod1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool slightly.2. Take chicken mince in a bowl. Add salt, dried mixed herbs, crushed black peppercorns, Worcestershire sauce, onion-garlic mixture, all spice powder and parsley leaves and mix till well combined. 3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a ball. Slightly flatten it to shape it like a patty.4. Heat remaining olive oil in a non-stick shallow pan. Place the patties and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 3-4 minutes on high heat as well. 5. Trim the head of each lettuce and halve them horizontally. 6. To assemble the burger, drizzle mayonnaise on 4 lettuce halves. Place the patties over them. Sprinkle salt, and crushed black peppercorns. Place cheese slice and cover remaining lettuce halves.
