It goes without saying that one of the famous hawker foods Penang is known for is their Char Koay Teow. Although the main ingredients of Penang Char Koay Teow are the same, we realised that every Char koay Teow stall has its own unique flavour and specialty. From the taste of their seasonings, the use of different eggs, the type of wok hei (charcoal or gas stove), to little details like how long to fry the beansprouts.
