Who doesn't love hot Jalebis? Lord Ram sure did! So this Dussehra, try out this Paneer jalebi recipe and enjoy the rich sweetness it brings to your palette.


PANEER JALEBI

Ingredients :
Paneer, crumbled
Sugar
A pinch of saffron
Cornstarch
Refined flour
Baking soda
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Pistachio slivers for garnish

Method :
1. Take sugar in a non-stick pan add water and saffron and mix. Boil for minutes to make sugar syrup.
2. Take cornstarch in a large bowl. Add refined flour, baking soda, salt and sufficient water and mix to make a smooth batter.
3. Add paneer and mix well.
4. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag and pipe spirals into hot oil. Cook on both sides till golden brown.
5. Transfer the fired jalebis into the sugar syrup and let it soak for a few minutes.
6. Transfer into a serving platter, garnish with pistachio slivers and serve.
