Mortadella pancake sandwich
Ingredients for sandwich:
K&N’s Mortadella slices (as required)
2 Eggs
2 tbsp Milk
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1 tbsp Butter
Lettuce leaves as required
Tomato slices as required
Honey for drizzling
Ingredients for pancakes:
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 tbsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
3 Egg
2 tbsp Butter (melted)
1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
Directions for sandwich:
1. Prepare K&N’s Mortadella slices as per the instruction on pack. Set aside.
2. Then in a bowl add egg, milk, salt and black pepper. Whisk until foamy.
3. In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat until foamy.
4. Add eggs and cook, stirring, until large, fluffy curds form and eggs are fully cooked for about 3 minutes.
5. Your scrambled egg is ready. Set aside.
Directions for pancakes:
1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, vanilla essence and melted butter; mix until smooth.
3. Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium high heat. Pour the batter in pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
4. Cook until brown on both sides. Set aside.
Assembling:
1. Take pancake, top it with lettuce leaf and scrambled egg.
2. Place tomato and add a layer of prepared K&N’s Mortadella slice on top.
3. Cover it with another pancake and drizzle honey on top.
4. Your mortadella pancake sandwich is ready to serve.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
