Palak & Doodhi Pakoda by Veena | India Food Network

Veena shows you another quick & easy snack you can make for your guests this Diwali. Watch to learn how to make Palak & Doodhi Pakodas.

Ingredients:

1) 8-10 leaves Spinach
2) Sliced Doodhi
3) 1 cup Gram Flour
4) 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
5) Soda
6) 1/2 tsp Ajwain Seeds
7) Coriander Leaves
8) Salt

Method:

1. For the batter, mix gram flour, red chilli powder, soda bi-carb, carrom seeds, coriander leaves and salt with water.
2. Dip slices of doodhi in the batter and coat evenly and fry in hot oil on a medium flame until crisp and golden brown.
3. Dip each palak leaf in the batter and fry till golden brown.
4. Serve with chutney or ketchup.
