PALAK CHICKEN CURRY | Vahchef - VahRehVah

The combination of spinach and chicken is an everlasting, healthy and delicious combination which tastes yum with rice or roti.

Ingredients used in PALAK CHICKEN CURRY

• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Fresh coconut - 2 tablespoons.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garlic cloves - 10 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Chicken - 250 grams.
• Spinach(chopped) - 2 bunch.
• Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Water - as required.

Method:
1. Firstly heat oil in a pan, add fresh coconut pieces, chopped onion, salt, garlic, turmeric powder and saute until onions are 2. slightly brown.
3. Now add chopped tomato, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and saute it for few more minutes.
4. Then add chicken pieces mix well and cook for another 10-12 minutes on a slow flame by closing the lid on.
5. Finally add spinach, crushed pepper, some water and cook for another 4-5 minutes and serve hot with rice or roti.
