ONION RINGS Ingredients 4-5 medium onions, cut into roundels, layers separated and soaked in cold water1 cup cornflakes½ cup fresh brown breadcrumbsSalt to taste½ teaspoon smoked paprika¾ teaspoon onion powder¾ teaspoon garlic powder¾ cup whole wheat flour (atta)2-3 tablespoons yogurtOil spray as required Dip 3-4 tablespoons hung yogurt1 tablespoon cheese spread1 teaspoon garlic paste ½ teaspoon paprika½ tablespoon mustard paste½ teaspoon red chilli flakes1 tablespoon chopped chivesSalt to tasteMethod1. Put the cornflakes in a bowl and crush coarsely. Add breadcrumbs and mix. 2. Add salt, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder and mix well.3. Drain onion rings on absorbent paper. 4. Preheat oven at 180º C. 5. Mix wheat flour, salt, little water and yogurt and mix well into a lump-free coating batter. Add more water to adjust the consistency.6. Dip the onion rings in the batter and coat with the breadcrumbs mixture. Repeat the process once again.7. Spray oil on a baking tray and place the prepared onion rings on it. Spray some more oil on top, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.8. To make the dip, mix hung yogurt, cheese spread, garlic paste, paprika, mustard paste, chilli flakes and chives in a bowl. Add salt and mix again. 9.
