Old Lahore Best Food aur Madam Noor Jahan ka Ghar Butt Karhai, Dal Chawal Street Food Pakistan

Great food, fantastic music, street cricket, and rich culture is what Lahore is all about. I visited the historic house of the legendary Madam Noor Jahan in Androon Lahore and luckily found a young, talented, hidden gem in the same house!
Later I went to Lakshmi Chowk to eat authentic Desi Murgh Karhai with an old friend.
Lahore's local food + old friend + a chilled Coca-Cola... This is my Recipe For Magic!

Noor Jehan, also known by her honorific title Malika-e-Tarannum, was a Pakistani playback singer and actress who worked first in British India and then in the cinema of Pakistan. Her career spanned more than six decades.

Located in the Walled City of Lahore, Taxali Gate, also known as Taxal, is the only opening of the walled city to the west. Though the gate itself no longer exists, it was built during the reign of the Mughal King Akbar, from 1575 -1585. The streets here are full of ancient architecture, and the area has remained a cultural hubbub since time immemorial. Against the backdrop of the iconic Badshahi Mosque, this striking space attracts thousands of national and international tourists. Madam Noor Jahan's historical house is also there where she spent four years of her life.
