A very easy side dish for chapati and dosa, this green kurma recipe is from the Nilgiris areas in Tamilnadu, India. The recipe video has captions in both Tamil & English. The green veg kurma is very attractive with it's bright green colour and tastes very delicious. This can be done in under 30 minutes for a weekday lunch/dinner. This easy green kurma is the one of the best side dish for chapati and dosa. A must try recipe which will be enjoyed by both kids and adults.

Serves - 5 to 6
Shelf-life - 1 day; Refrigerated, 2 days

INGREDIENTS:
For the paste:
1. Mint leaves - 1 to 1.5 handful
2. Coriander - 1 to 1.5 handful
3. Coconut, grated - 1 cup
4. Cashew nut - 1 tbsp
5. Green chillies - 3 to 4
6. Poppy seeds - 1/2 tbsp

For kurma:
7. Oil - 4 tbsp or 1/4 cup
8. Cinnamon stick - 1
9. Cardamom - 3
10. Cloves - 4
11. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
12. Onion, large - 1
13. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
14. Potatoes, Beans, Cauliflower florets, Carrot - 1/2 cup each (You can use veggies of your choice).
15. Turmeric powder - 2 pinches
16. Salt - to taste
17. Water - as required
