Te Tai Tokerau Northland is New Zealands most underrated food region. This subtropical region which spans the top of Aotearoa is brimming with iconic restaurants, top producers and unmissable eats. This 5 part series will canvas the whole of Te Tai Tokerau Northland and share some of our must eat spots for you to visit when you do your own Northland roadie.

This Northland food itinerary starts in Kaiwaka and ends on the Tutukaka Coast and spans 1-3 days. We visit a number of producers, restaurants and cafes that are included in this itinerary but there are a whole load more we didnt get a chance to include. Eutopia Cafe, 1955 State Highway 1, Kaiwaka 0573. Open 7 days, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 3:00pm and Friday to Sunday 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Brooke Lane Vineyard, 52 Brooke Lane, Mangawhai 0573. Open 7 days 11am to 5pm Labour Weekend to Easter. During the winter months Brooke Lane Vineyard is open by appointment, call Nicky on 021 545299 or Ray on 021 821146.
