Tikka Pizza Naan Recipe:
Ingredients for naan:
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
1/4 cup Yogurt
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
Yeast 1 tsp
Lukewarm water (for kneading)
Egg (beaten) as required
Ingredients for pizza topping:
K&N’s Tikka Topping as required
Pizza sauce as required
Black olives as required
Jalapenos as required
Red bell pepper as required
Capsicum (diced) as required
Onion (diced) as required
Sweet Corns as required
Mozzarella cheese as required
Cheddar cheese as required
Directions for naan:
Prepare K&N’s Tikka topping as per the instructions on pack. Set aside.
In a bowl add flour, yeast, baking soda, salt, sugar, oil and yogurt.
Mix all these ingredients well, gradually add water and knead soft tacky dough.
Knead dough well on a slightly floured surface. Grease it with oil.
Cover it and set aside for at least 2 to 3 hours.
Take dough, knead it well again then divide it into 4 equal sizes and make balls.
Cover them again with damp cloth and rest it for 15 to 20 minutes.
Take one ball and roll it out and punch marks with a fork.
Heat your flat pan and place naan on a flat pan and cook on low medium flame from both sides for 4 to 5 minutes.
Now spread pizza sauce evenly in the center of naan and brush egg wash on edges.
Add some mozzarella cheese, K&N’s Tikka topping, cheddar cheese and top it with olives, capsicum, red bell pepper, jalapenos and sweet corns properly.
Lastly cover it with mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and sprinkle oregano on top.
Now cover the pan and cook it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
Tasty tikka pizza naan are ready to serve.
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Serving: 3-4
