Mutton shami kabab is a popular South Asian snack or appetizer made with minced mutton (goat meat), lentils, and spices.

Here's a recipe you can try:

Ingredients:

500g boneless mutton (goat meat)
1 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram lentils)
1 onion, chopped
4-5 green chilies, chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Instructions:

Wash the chana dal and soak it in water for at least 2 hours.

Boil the mutton with 1 cup of water until it becomes tender. Drain the water and let it cool.

In a pan, dry roast the cumin seeds and coriander seeds until fragrant. Grind them to a fine powder.

In a blender, grind the mutton, soaked chana dal, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, and the powdered spices to a smooth paste. Add salt to taste and mix well.

Make small round patties with the mixture and shallow fry them in hot oil until they turn golden brown on both sides.

Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
