Mutton Lal Mirch masala Quick Cooker recipe Chef Ranveer

LAL MIRCH MUTTON/GOSHT - Would you believe if I told you that this Mutton curry needs just about 7 ingredients!!

LAL MIRCH GOSHT
Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 40-45 minutes
Serve 4-5

Ingredients
For Laal Mirch Ka Gosht
1 cup Mustard oil,
1 inch Cinnamon stick,
2 no. Bay leaf,
1 kg Mutton with bones,
4 large Onions, sliced,
Salt to taste,
15-20 no. Dry Bedgi red chillies, soaked,
tbsp Ghee,
2-3 tbsp Coriander seeds, roughly crushed,
1 cups Curd, beaten,
Salt to taste,
2-3 cups Water,
1 tbsp Tender Coriander stem, finely chopped,

For Smoke
Coal,
1 no. Dry Bedgi red chilli, broke into half,
2 tsp Ghee,

For Garnish
Coriander sprig,

Process
For Laal Mirch Ka Gosht
In a handi, add mustard oil, once it's hot, add cinnamon stick, bay leaf and let it splutter.
Add mutton, onions and cook it for a while until golden in color.
Add salt to taste, soaked dry red chillies, ghee and saute it for a while on medium flames.
Add coriander seeds, curd, salt to taste and cook it for 10-12 minutes until cooked well.
Add water and mix it well, cover it with a lid and cook it for 30-40 minutes on medium flames.
Finish it with tender coriander stems.
Place a small steel bowl in handi, add charred coal, dry red chili, pour some ghee and smoke for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer the mutton in a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander sprig.
Serve hot with roti.
