Mutton Chops in Pepper Gravy | Vahchef - VahRehVah

MUTTON CHOPS IN PEPPER GRAVY
INGREDIENTS:
Oil - As Required
Mutton chops - 500gms
Rock salt - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Water - As Required
Peppercorns - 50gms
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Garlic - 10 cloves
Onion - 1 no
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 5 nos.
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
DIRECTIONS:
Firstly take a pressure cooker add some oil to it and heat it, add mutton chops, rock salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, tomatoes and add some water and put the lid on and cook it for 20 minutes on slow flame.
Heat oil in a pan, add peppercorns, cumin seeds, garlic, chopped onions. Saute it slightly transparent in colour and grind into a fine paste and keep aside.
Heat oil in the same pan,add mustard seeds, red chillies,Now pour the gravy and add onion & pepper paste to it , Mix it well and cook it on a slow flame.
Now add boiled mutton chops and cook it until the gravy oozes out the oil.In the last, add coriander leaves cook it for a minute and switch off the flame.
Now Delicious mutton chops in pepper gravy ready to serve with hot rice.
