Mutton Chana Aloo BiryaniINGREDIENTS:Oil - As Required Cashew nuts - 10 nos.Potatoes - 2 nos.Mutton - 500 gmsBay leaf - 2 nos.Black cardamom - 2 nos.Green cardamom - 2 nos.Cloves - 3 nos.Star anise - 2 nos.Shahi jeera - 1 tspOnions - 2 nos.Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspMint leaves - 1 BunchYogurt - 1 cupTomatoes - 2 nos.Chilli powder - 1 tspCumin powder - 1 tspCoriander powder - 1 tspWater - As RequiredChickpeas - 100 gmsDIRECTIONS:Heat oil in a pan, fry cashew nuts and transfer into a plate. In the same oil, add potatoes fry it and transfer into a plate.In the same oil, add mutton pieces fry till they turn light brown.Then add bay leaf, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, star anise, shahi jeera, onions, ginger garlic paste & cook it until all the raw flavour is gone.Now add mint leaves, yogurt, tomatoes, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, water, soaked chickpeas cook it for 4-5 whistles close the lid. Then add potato pieces, soaked basmati rice, water, and add garam masala powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, saffron cook it for one whistle with the lid closed.
