Mustard Garlic Prawns | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Fresh prawns marinated with plenty of garlic and mustard paste and steamed till perfectly cooked. Simple, healthy and super quick to make.

MUSTARD GARLIC PRAWNS

Ingredients

1 tablespoon mustard paste
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
8-10 medium prawns, shelled and deveined with tails intact
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Pepper powder to taste
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

1. Take prawns in a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper powder, mustard paste and mixed herbs, mix well and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
2. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan, place a glass tray over,lined with an aluminum foil, cover and let it heat.
3. Place marinated prawns in the tray, cover and steam for 10 minutes.
4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick tempering pan. Add garlic and sauté till golden. Remove from heat.
5. Place steamed prawns on a serving plate, add burnt garlic on top and serve hot.

Preparation Time: 12-15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
