This one is prepared for the health-conscious people with the goodness of millets and oats.MULTI-MILLET OATS DATE CAKEIngredients¾ cup multi-millet flour¾ cup oats, powdered18-20 seedless dates, roughly chopped1½ cups milk1 tsp vanilla essence¼ cup honey⅓ cup oil1 tsp baking powder1 tsp baking sodaA pinch of salt Coffee to serveMethod1. Take dates in a bowl, add milk and set aside to soak for 2-3 hours.2. Preheat the oven at 180ºC. 3. Put the soaked dates along with milk in a blender jar and blend to a smooth mixture. Transfer this into a large bowl, add vanilla essence, honey, and oil and beat with an electric beater till well combined.4. Sift the multi-millet flour, powdered oats, baking powder and baking soda directly into the bowl. Add salt and gently fold the mixture till well combined. 5. Transfer the batter into a greased and dusted 6 inch cake tin. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.6. Take the cake out of the oven and allow to cool room temperature. De-mould the cake and cut into wedges.
