Like every other cuisine, the Kashmiri cuisine offers this special zara-hatke chutney to accompany their dishes. Prepared with grated radish and a handful of spices, it is going to be your favourite side-dish of all times.

MUJ CHETNI

Ingredients

150 grams grated white radish (muj/mooli)
Salt to taste
A pinch of Kashmiri red chilli powder
A pinch of cumin powder
1-2 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsps chopped walnuts + for garnish
¾ cup thick yogurt
Fresh coriander sprig for garnish

Method

1. Squeeze grated white radish and transfer into a large bowl. Add salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, green chillies, walnuts and yogurt and mix well.
2. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with walnuts and coriander sprig. Serve.
