You will love the crisp bread and the chunky, cheesy topping.Preparation Time: 10 minutes. Cooking Time: 4 minutes. Baking Temperature: 180°C (360° F). Baking Time: 15 to 17 minutes.Makes 6 open rolls.For the bread 3 hot dog rollsMelted butter for brushingFor the topping ¾ cup chopped and boiled carrots¾ cup boiled green peas½ cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)1 tbsp butter2 tsp finely chopped green chillies1½ tsp plain flour (maida)5 tbsp milk2 tbsp grated processed cheeseSalt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to tasteOther ingredients3 tbsp grated processed cheeseFor serving Chilli sauceFor the bread 1. Slit each hot roll horizontally, scoop the centre of each halve a little, using a spoon so that a light depression is formed for the topping.2. Brush the scooped bread halves with a little melted butter on both the sides and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360°F) for 5 to 7 minutes or till they turn crisp. Keep aside.For the topping1. Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.2. Add the plain flour and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds, while stirring continuously.3. Add the carrots and green peas and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. 4. Add the milk and cheese, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. 5. Add the paneer, salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 more minute. 6. Divide the topping into 6 equal portions. Keep aside. How to proceed 1. Place a portion of the topping evenly over each hot dog halve, sprinkle ½ tbsp grated cheese over it and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360°F) for 5 minutes or till the cheese melts.2. Serve immediately topped with chilli sauce.
