Spread the love! :)Download our App - http://bit.ly/DownloadIndiaFoodNetworkAppIngredients2 pears Filling:½ cup almonds½ cup pistachios1 cinnamon stick2 cardamom pods1 tsp vanilla extract1 tbsp rose syrup1-2 tbsp sugar2-3 strands saffron2 tbsp butter Syrup:1/3 cup sugar1/3 cup water1/3 cup pomegranate juice2 tbsp red wine vinegar½ cinnamon stick2 star anise¼ vanilla bean podpinch of nutmeg powderMethod:Filling:Place the filling ingredients together in a mixer and pulse until you achieve a coarse texture. Pears:Preheat the oven to 200°C.Core the insides of pear.Assemble:In a bowl stir all the syrup ingredients together.In a shallow glass or ceramic dish place the pears facing up.Pour the syrup into the baking dish. Do add all the whole spices as well.Add the filling into the cores of the pear, and drizzle some of the syrup on top of the pears and bake for 40 minutes.Remove from the oven and serve with vanilla ice cream.
