MISAL MASALA :
Dry coconut chopped – ½ cup or desiccated coconut – 1/4th cup
Dry Kashmiri chilli – 12 pcs
Sesame seeds – 2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Cinnamon stick – 1
Cloves – 10-12 pcs
Black pepper – 6 pcs
Garlic – 12 pods

KAT/GRAVY :
Oil – 3-4 tbsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4th tsp
Curry leaves – handful
Onion – 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Tomato – 1 chopped
Salt to taste
Water – 4 cups
Sprouted matki/moth – 1 cup
Fresh lemon juice
