An Indian traditional mint chutney which can also be used as a dip for any tandoor kebabs or fried kebabs.


Mint Chutney ( Pudina Chutney ) / Dip

Ingredients:
Mint leaves - 1 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Green Chilli - 2 large
Garlic - 2 cloves
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Curd - 2-3 Tbsp (optional - only if you want to make it into a mild dip)

The term chutney refers to a number of sauces (or the dry base for such sauces) native to the Indian subcontinent, forming an integral part of the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent. Chutneys may be realized in such forms as a tomato relish, a ground peanut garnish, or a dahi (yogurt), cucumber, spicy coconut, spicy onion or mint dipping sauce.
