Mini Frank Corn Sausage
Ingredients for Coating Mixture:
Cornmeal 3/4 cup
All-purpose flour 1 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Egg 1
Buttermilk 2 cups
Oil 2 tbsp
Ketchup (serving)
Ingredients for Assembling:
K&Ns Mini Franks Sausage (700 g) 10-12
Oil (frying)
Coating mixture as required
Ketchup as required
Directions for Coating Mixture Preparation:
1. In a bowl Combine cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder
and whisk.
2. In another bowl, add oil, egg, buttermilk, and whisk together.
3. Pour wet ingredients gradually into dry ingredients and continuously whisk
them to avoid any lumps.
4. Thaw K&Ns Mini Franks Sausage as per instructions on the pack.
5. Insert a skewer from one side of the K&Ns Mini Franks Sausage.
6. Pour the prepared batter into a tall glass and dunk each sausage into the batter
until it is covered.
7. Add the batter-covered sausage into the hot oil and fry it for 3-5 minutes.
Remove the fried sausage onto the kitchen towel and repeat the process.
8. Make the smiley with ketchup and serve. Your Mini Frank Corn Sausage are
ready.
