Minapa Garelu is also referred to as Vada, Medhu Vada a popular recipe across India. This festive on Kanuma taste Vada with some Chicken it's gonna yummy. It's a tradition across the south on Kanuma to prepare Vada, which is served with Chicken Curry. The combination is called Nato Kodi chillu Gare, super tasty. Method of preparation
• Take 1 cup whole urad dal, wash it 2-3 times and soak it for 4-5 hours.

• In a mixer grinder, add 2-3 pieces of ginger, 2-3 green chillies and grind them.

• Now add the whole urad dal to this mixture without adding water. Adding water will make the mixture soft and consume more oil. Grind it well and leave the mixture slightly coarse.

• Transfer the mixture to a bowl and mix the batter well with your hands.

• Add 2 tbsps of idli rava to the batter, this will make the vadas crisp.

• Add finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves - 2 tbsps each, ½ a tsp of cumin seeds, 1 finely chopped onion. Mix them well with the batter. Add 1 tsp salt or as required.

• Wet your hands and take a small portion of the batter. Roll it into a lemon-sized ball. Pat the ball to flatten it slightly and create a hole in the centre of the flattened ball.

• You can also take a skimmer and grease the reverse side of it with oil. Press a lemon-sized ball against the greased side of the skimmer and create a whole in the centre of the flattened ball.

• Heat Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil in a pan. Drop the vada gently from the skimmer in hot oil.

• Fry the vadas on medium flame in batches. Flip the vadas and fry them on the other side. Fry the vadas until crisp and light brown.

• Tasty, crispy and delicious vada is ready.
