Mikan Matcha Daifuku

INGREDIENTS
2 Mikan
120g White bean paste
80g Shiratamako 80g
50g Sugar
2 teaspoons Matcha powder
100ml Water

Potato starch
Matcha powder (for topping)

PREPARATION
1. Peel the Mikan and remove the white fibers.

2. Divide the white bean paste into two equal parts, spread them into a circle, and wrap the mikan in it.

3. Put Shiratamako, sugar, and matcha powder in a small pot and mix, then add water little by little and mix well so as not to get lumpy.

4. Put (3) on medium heat and mix thoroughly well, then turn off the heat when smooth.

5. Sprinkle potato starch on a cutting board, and take out the dough from (4). Sprinkle more potato starch on top, and wait for it to cool. Spread it by hand and divide it into two equal parts and wrap (2) with the matcha dough.

6. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with matcha powder to finishing, and you're done!
