Methi Chaman Recipe Restaurant Style By Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi | chefharpalsingh

Methi Chaman
oil 2 tbsp
cumin seeds 1 tsp
onion chopped 2
ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
tomato chopped 3-4
salt to taste
red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp
coriander powder 1 tbsp
turmeric powder ½ tsp
fennel powder ½ tsp
dry ginger powder ½ tsp
garam masala powder 1 tsp
green chilli paste 1 tsp
fenugreek leaves 400 gms
cashewnut paste 3 tbsp
water ½ cup
cream 1 cup
paneer cubes 200 gms
kasuri methi 1 tsp + to sprinkle
Coriander chopped 2 tbsp
cardamom powder 1 tsp



Method
heat oil in a pan, add cumin sauté for 1 mins.
add onion and sauté for 3-4 mins or onions till browns
add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 mins.
Add tomato chopped, salt and mix well.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, dry ginger powder, garam masala powder, green chilli paste. mix well.
Add fenugreek leaves and sauté for 3 -4 mins.
Add cashewnut paste, mix well and sauté for 3-4 mins.
add water and mix well. cover and cook for 3-4 mins.
add cream and mix well
add paneer and mix well.
add kasuri methi , coriander chopped, cardamom powder and mix well.
Transfer to a serving bowl
sprinkle kasuri methi and serve hot.
