MEETHI NARIYAL KI ROTI

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) + for dusting
½ cup desiccated coconut
½ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp green cardamom powder
A pinch of salt
½ cup grated dried coconut
2 tbsps ghee


Method

1. Take whole wheat flour in a large bowl. Add desiccated coconut, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, salt, grated dried coconut and ghee and mix well. Add ¾ cup water, mix and knead to a soft dough. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Dust the worktop with some whole wheat flour, take a portion of the dough and shape it into a ball and place it on the worktop. Roll it into a thin disc.
3. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the disc on it and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Flip and continue to cook the other side for 1-2 minutes as well. Reduce the heat to low and cook till crisp.
4. Serve as required.
