SAFFRON MAWA CAKE

Measurement cup – 200 ml
Instant Mawa Preparation :
Salted butter – 1 tsp
Milk – 1/4th cup
Milk powder – ½ cup

Cake Batter :
Salted butter(room temp) – ½ cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Wheat flour – ½ cup
Cornflour – 1 tbsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Fine semolina(suji) – 1 cup
Milk – 3/4th cup
Fresh curd – 1/4th cup
Prepared Mawa – 3/4th cup grated
Cardamom powder – 1/4th tsp

Creamy Saffron Frosting :
Chilled Whipping Cream(used dairy-free) – ½ cup
Powdered sugar sieved – 2 tbsp optional
Chilled saffron milk – 1 tbsp
Yellow gel colour (optional)
