In this video, I headed down to Unagiya Ichinoya, tucked away in a quaint corner at Robertson Quay. Unagiya Ichinoya is a specialist Japanese restaurant that focuses on unagi (eel) bento. It also offers other classic Japanese fare like sashimi and wagyu beef.For my platter, I was given unagi, A4 wagyu ribeye, squid, chicken wings and yakitori, all grilled masterfully over charcoal. Servings of ikiru and sashimi were also provided, after which all of these were plated around a bed of rice.All in all, the platter was a beautiful sight to behold and the variety on the plate was inviting, although the strong flavour of unagi became rather tedious at the end.
